  1. beore applying these patches, please move the following
  2. files from the main library source directory to some
  3. other place (i use a sub-dir called notused/, if you retreived
  4. your copy from dsrgsun lately you should have this sub-directory
  5. already under the library source directory)
  6.     lmalloc.c, alloca.c
  7. ( my notused/ sub-directory now contains:
  8. alloca.c bcopy.c doprintf.c eprintf.c getc.c lbcmp.c lbcopy.c lbzero.c
  9. lmalloc.c putc.c qsort.c sldexp.c -- note qsort.c is the old
  10. qsort.c, lib now contains a newer qsort.c).
  11.  
  12. new files in this update:
  13.     alloca.s    -- efficient alloca
  14.
